Jean SumnerJean Sumner, President
Jean Sumner, author of “52 Tips to be Healthy” and co-founder of World Wellness Education has been involved with the health and wellness industry since 1996.   An avid runner, she is passionate about exercise, eating healthy and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Jean was diagnosed with cancer in May, 2009 this only served to fuel the flames of her passions.

Jean pursued alternative methods of treating cancer and met countless individuals who had great stories to tell regarding how nutrition, spirituality and exercise helped them to overcome their various illnesses.

Since these stories were moving, motivating and timely she thought that each of these stories may make a difference in others’ lives. With the knowledge that we learn from stories more quickly than other teaching methods, an organization was born in hopes to make a difference in the well-being of every individual on the planet. That organization is World Wellness Education.

Betty Sue Kjos, Advisory Board Member

My background is in Health Physics related to the nuclear/radiation physics field.  As a Health Physics Technician, I traveled throughout the US for many projects both in the nuclear energy and the pharmaceutical industries.

While researching ways to help my husband deal with serious asthma issues,  I discovered the world of aromatherapy and how pure, Grade A, therapeutic-grade essential oils can support your body emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. After researching the differences in essential oils available, I chose Young Living for their lifelong commitment to purity, 100% toxin-free product line, and the Young Living Lifestyle.

After meeting Jean a few years ago,  she made a profound difference on our wellness journey by educating anyone who would listen on the difference our food choices  make in our health and longevity.

I am passionate about educating others and helping to transform lives through the power of pure, authentic essential oils, eating REAL food, pure water, and other healing choices and by reminding others to take charge of their own wellness.  I offer weekly classes in The Villages, on-line classes on Facebook, newsletters and on my website @ www.bettysuekjos.com.
