The Villages and Leesburg Joint Quarterly Meeting

May 10, 2012 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

| $5.00

Join us for our May Meeting.  You will have so much fun.  We will have our meeting at the Salt Room and each of us will have the opportunity to enjoy a 20 minute healing session.  Along with the session the owner of the salt room, Rebecca James, will provide wine and hor’dourves.  She will also speak to us about all of the benefits of the salt room and share her reasons for opening this fun filled facility.  Along with Rebecca, Mary Ann Holden will also share information on  the benefits of salt therapy.  You won’t want to miss this meeting!

Rebecca James is a native Floridian, born and raised in Orlando. She is married and has one child, Reilly age four. Prior to having her son, Rebecca worked as a sales manager for a developer.Since then she has devoted her time and energy to being a full time mother. With the birth of her son, Rebecca found a renewed interest in pursuing a healthy lifestyle for herself and her family. Her interest in alternative medicine, and salt therapy specifically, was sparked by her search for a natural remedy for her child’s typical but numerous encounters with colds and sinus infections  that would then turn to bronchialitis. Rebecca and her partner Ashley Lewless had been friends since High school.  When Rebecca heard about The Salt Room (Orlando) she decided it was something she just had to try.  That was a year and
a half ago and Reilly has been free of any sinus infections and bronchial problems. Since seeing such positive effects of salt therapy, Rebecca is passionate and excited about opening the Salt Room in The Villages.

Maryann Holden has worked as a Nurse for over 25 years in Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities.

After witnessing first-hand the results of poor choices through out one’s life, she jumped on a path of learning how to create a lifestyle toward optimal health and wellness. Certified as a Yoga Instructor, she enjoys teaching both Beginner and Vinyasa Flow Yoga. She also specializes in teaching people how to cleanse and replenish the body and live a vibrant & healthy lifestyle.

Testimonials

Jean Sumner gave my children a Nutrition Detectives DVD and they watched it. My 5 year old Robert watched it intensely and when it was complete he made the decision that he was not going to eat anything with bad ingredients. I was at work and when I returned home my 13 year old, Miranda, was beside herself because Robert refused to eat anything in the house since we did not have anything in the cupboard that wasn’t highly processed and loaded with bad ingredients. Robert went from being a kid who would not eat a vegetable to save his life to a kid who requests vegetables for dinner. He still doesn’t eat a lot of them but he now eats a small serving without being begged to eat them. Miranda has wanted to be a chef since she was 4 years old and that is still her goal. But since she watched Nutrition Detectives she wants to have her own restaurant that offers only healthy food. You are making a difference.
