Allergies & Asthma with Traci Brosman & Betty Ainslee

According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America an allergy is characterized by an overreaction of the human immune system to a foreign protein substance (“allergen”) that is eaten, breathed into the lungs, injected or touched. This immune overreaction can result in symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, itchy eyes, runny nose and scratchy throat. In severe cases it can also result in rashes, hives, lower blood pressure, difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, and even death.

Allergies affect 1 in 4 people. That is over 60,000,000 people whose immune systems overreact  on a regular basis. Hayfever is considered the 5th largest chronic disease and results in over 4 million lost work days per year.

Betty Ainslee shares her story how she finally has her allergies and adult onset asthma under control and that she can live life to its fullest.
