Amazing Medical Technology That Eliminates Pain

Do you remember the doctor on Star Trek?  He had a machine that he ran over the body and everything was quickly healed.  We are approaching this quick form of healing by using electrical stimulation called Acuscope Myopulse Therapy or AMT.

AMT therapy combines the use of an  Acuscope and a myoscope.  The Acuscope is a highly sophisticated electronic medical instrument which is designed to scan and treat many types of electrical stimulators called TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation). TENS means that the instrument uses electricity to reduce pain by stimulating the nervous system of the body without puncturing the skin in any way. The Myoscope, companion instrument to the Acuscope, gently stimulates the muscles, tendons and ligaments, reducing spasm, inflammation and strengthening tissue damaged by traumatic injury. Together they comprise the most technologically advanced and effective electronic physical therapy equipment available in health care today.

This therapy is used to eliminate pain from the following:

 • Pre- and post-joint replacement

• Tendonitis, arthritis, or bursitis

 • Torn muscles and ligaments

• Strains, sprains, or spasms

• Acute or chronic back pain

• Degenerative joint disease

• Bone fractures and spurs

• Carpal tunnel syndrome

• Wrist or knee injuries

• Shin splint syndrome

• Golf or tennis elbow

• Migraine headaches

• Spine injuries

• Fibromyalgia

• Neuralgia

• Whiplash

• Sciatica

• Edema and Lymphedema

The Acuscope and Myoscope are currently being used by professional athletic teams, sports medicine practices, hospitals, and by thousands of private doctors and therapists in every field of medicine throughout the world.  This therapy has extensive applications in veterinary medicine as well.  There are great stories about athletes both human and animal who have benefited from this therapy.

Here are just a few of these stories. In March 2009, pro golfer Dan Buchman cited one AMT treatment as the reason (many months later) he was still competing without pain. Jack Nicklaus praised AMT for lengthening his career (and that of many others on the pro-golf tour) and for helping him win the 1986 Masters. Olympic Gold Medalist marathoner Joan Benoit credits AMT for enabling her stay in the Olympics (after a crippling hamstring injury) and for putting her in the best shape of her life. About his AMT treatments, Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana said “I was able to get back to playing sooner, without pain…I heartily endorse this equipment.” The founder of the Thorp Institute was able to avoid knee replacement surgery and (after 25 years, 28 triathlons and weekly surfing) still has absolutely no pain or arthritis in the knee doctors told him he would never bend again without the replacement surgery.

Pretty incredible.  So if you have been suffering from chronic pain, this is an option for you to review.

Jean Sumner has pursued an interest in wellness her entire life. An avid runner, she is passionate about exercise, eating healthy and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Jean was diagnosed with cancer in May, 2009 this only served to fuel the flames of her passions and encouraged her to learn more about wellness. This diagnosis actually led to the beginning of World Wellness Education with a mission of “Teaching the world about wellness — one story at a time.”

As Jean pursued alternative methods of treating cancer she met countless individuals who had great stories to tell regarding how nutrition, spirituality and exercise helped them to overcome their various illnesses. Since these stories were moving, motivating and timely she thought that each of these stories may make a difference in others’ lives. With the knowledge that we learn from stories more quickly than other teaching methods an organization was born in hopes to make a difference in the well-being of every individual on the planet.

Prior to Jean’s involvement with World Wellness Education she was a bank manager.  With the significant change that was going on in the banking industry, Jean learned that her staff did much better with change if they took it one step at a time.  She has now transferred this learning to the Wellness industry and created small weekly changes that one can make which will lead up to a significant amount of positive change by the end of the year.
