INGREDIENTS

2 cups fresh cranberries, washed
1 red apple cored & quartered *
1 orange with peel quartered **
¼ cup unsweetened cranberry juice
¼ cup honey
½ chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts raw, may be toasted if you like, but then they’re not raw)

PREPARATION

1. Divide ingredients and process in a food processor or blender on chop until sauce. If needed you can add more cranberry juice.

2. After removing from the food processor or blender stir in chopped nuts.  This is better if made a day or two ahead of time. Depending on taste you may want to add more honey.

3. After this sets for a day it will taste sweeter so wait at least one day before  adding too much honey.

4. Refrigerate in air tight container.

* I use Jonathan, McIntosh, Paula or a good crisp red apple.
** Use an orange with good peel such as naval.  Remove any seed before using.
