Is it time to Make Change?

Toxins!  They are everywhere.  There are toxins in the food we eat, the lotions we put on our skin, the water we drink, and the air we breathe.  So what?  Is there anything you can do about these toxins?  Why would you care?  This article is an attempt to help you understand why you would want to eliminate toxins from your life.  

In order to motivate you to change things in your life, you must first understand the why!

Toxins have been implicated in almost every disease.  A study in 2005 reviewed the umbilical cord blood of 10 new born babies.  The scientist found 287 toxins in the blood.  Two hundred of these toxins were industrial chemicals and pollutants.  The toxins included chemicals known to cause cancer, poison the nervous system and brain and cause birth defects.  And this is the blood of new born babies.  Imagine what is lurking in your system!

Pesticides have been associated with Parkinson’s disease, environmental toxins have been associated with chronic kidney disease, aluminum has been associated with Alzheimer’s disease and bacterial toxins have been associated with diarrhea.  And the list goes on.  Liver disease is associated with the toxins in alcohol, pneumonitis, chronic fatigue, kidney failure and cancer.  These toxins are associated with fungal exposure, and processed foods are associated with obesity.  Enough?    There are many reasons to start paying attentions to the toxins in our lives. 

You know it is time to eliminate as many toxins from your life as possible when you feel sluggish, have skin problems, or aches and pains.  Other indications would include disease, digestive problems as well as difficulty losing weight.  Sound familiar? 

Begin making changes today.  Even if you only change one thing in your life weekly, you will be moving forward to a new healthier you.
